The Operations Specialist (Loss Control) is responsible for processing, ordering and monitoring inspections and updating the relevant company systems. This position supports the loss control needs of our various underwriting teams.

What you will do for C&F:

    Order Loss Control inspections on various inspection vendor web sites
  • Manage and triage tasks and documents using a document retention and workflow system (ImageRight)
  • Monitor and update Seneca's in-house inspection tracking system (Senspec)
  • Review inspection aging reports and investigate aged inspections
  • Coordinate information requests between inspection vendors and underwriters
  • Generate recommendation letters per underwriter specifications

What you will bring to C&F:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Insurance industry experience a plus
  • Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to balance a wide range of time sensitive responsibilities and multiple different applications.
  • Strong reading comprehension and communication skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Windows, web-based applications and technology is strongly preferred.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $40,500.00 to a maximum of $67,500.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
