Come join our team as the Marketing Associate to support our remote Marketing team. As the Staff Accountant you will be deeply embedded into the day-to-day operations of the marketing team including design, copywriting, project management, event management and social media. This role will be a crucial part of driving the success of our marketing team and is ideal for someone with a background in project management and marketing operations who has a genuine passion for sustainability, the environment and social justice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Marketing Director on marketing planning and campaign management.
  • Marketing tasks such as:

Copywriting (copy for internal and external communications, digital and print channels)

Design (creative direction for print and digital collateral)

Project management (working within Monday.com to manage the flow of tasks and ensure deadlines are met)

Event management (virtual and in-person)

  • Assisting the PR Specialist with planning PR activity, outreach to media contacts, attending events.
  • Analysis of marketing channels including Google Analytics, Sprout Social and SEO metrics.

Specific Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in marketing, preferably in a similar role - can be intern based experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving acumen, with the ability to think critically and propose creative solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Startup Drive: ability and excitement to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, value-driven environment.
  • Resourceful, detail oriented and an extremely organized self-starter.

Physical Demands:

Sustained standing and sitting;

Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor;

Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
