We are making a positive impact, and we want you to be a part of it! www.lgeshonda.com Summary: The logistics part leader will be responsible for the logistic functions at the site; plans and coordinates material movements, monitors team performance, and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and manage the necessary roles for the logistics team and inventory control team • Develop and manage standard and non-standard (expedite) part arrival process • Manages all incoming materials through receiving as well as outgoing materials through shipping; both domestic and international • Develop raw material & component part logistics process and relationships with carriers / trucking companies for operations • Develop and manage process engineering and fleet management roles • Manage the accuracy of inventory systems required to support production • Effectively lead team by talent acquisition, associate development, leadership development, loss elimination, manpower control & planning, business plan development, and KPI development and reporting • Develop/manage processes for trade and compliance and customs • Ensure the onboarding and training of company’s permanent manpower • Ensure the continuous improvement, coordination and supervision of external shipping activities and finished goods inventory storage control and labeling activities • Participates in the selection of third-party vendors; assess vendor capabilities, develop sources, and evaluates vendor performance • Ensure the maintenance of documentation required for all international related transactions (i.e. commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origins etc.) • Manage all performance measures and corrective action processes • Develop and continuously improve all logistics inbound and outbound traffic routing • Directly supervise, coach and train all support & logistic activities • Manage all storage and layout plans (maintain & develop layout drawings, and related work instructions) • Participate in continuous improvement projects • Strong collaboration with forwarder, parent company & LGES HONDA joint venture Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant experience • 6 to 8+ years of experience in related field Knowledge/Skills: • Knowledge with ERP systems • Experience with logistics preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and advanced Excel skills • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills • Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations • Flexibility to work adjusted shifts as necessary • Strong attention to details Additional requirements: • This role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic and/or international Are you ready to join us in our journey toward a better world?
