A day in the life of an LPN

As the school LPN you will assist in providing services to schools that work toward the good health and wellness of students and the improvement of health conditions in general. You independently assess children's health needs in order to obtain the information necessary for medical services and to develop health plans that help meet the health and educational needs of each child served. Friendly and personable, you warmly interact with these children, always serving them with patience and kindness.

What is Required to be an LPN at PSI

We expect our LPNs to have a current LPN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing. While school health experience is preferred, it is not necessary. We want to make sure you are knowledgeable about communicable disease prevention and medication protocol. And of course, you will need to know HIPAA laws and be able to appropriately handle confidential information.
