System One is working with a client in New Castle, PA that operates as a cost center converting supplied ingots into bloom and custom open die forgings according to their written instructions. This client has an immediate need for Multi-Skilled Operators. This full-time position will report directly to the Forge Manager. If you are an ambitious, self-starter who is passionate about manufacturing, we want to hear from you! Payrate: $20/hr; ($.70 shift differ); Quarterly Bonus after 90-day employment. Rotating Shifts - 6AM - 4PM; 7PM - 5AM / Rotate every two weeks. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition per the housekeeping policy. Complete all daily duties including loading and unloading of trucks and/or railcars. Operating overhead and/or radio-controlled cranes and lift trucks. Inspecting of forgings and associated clerical work. Weighing and segregating of scrap. Provide coverage as needed with the Forge Crew. Work on rotating shifts with required overtime Perform work in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company Perform other duties as deemed necessary What You’ll Need: A High School Diploma/GED General computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work as a team player as well as ability to work independently Knowledge of operating overhead cranes & fork trucks (preferred) A commitment to safety.
