About the role:

As an Administrative Assistant for our fast-paced Fort Worth Headquarters, you will provide general administrative support to HQ departments and/or group of professionals. You will perform a variety of moderately complex administrative support duties while working under moderate supervision.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • provide general administrative support; send and receive email; organize and maintain supplies and other materials; send and receive documents through interoffice and outside mail.
  • assist customers and the general public on a wide variety of matters; receive and greet visitors and guests.
  • operate switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls; screen calls; assist callers from within the association and the general public.
  • distribute mail and packages; assist with preparation and mailing of materials and packages.
  • answer customer inquiries and resolve routine issues, while fostering good member/public relations.
  • enter data into information systems from a variety of source documents; retrieves information when needed; proofread documents.
  • compose moderately complex correspondence and reports from source documents.
  • update and maintain files.
  • assist with various meetings or special projects.

Your qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities in an office environment including support for mid to senior-level management.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
