Large Manufacturing Plant is seeking a Indirect Procurement Manager
Job Description:
Indirect procurement is the act of purchasing services or supplies required to keep the day to day business alive. This includes things such as buying Supplies and industrial machinery to run the business or to help to become more efficient or acquiring services. The individual will be an addition to the indirect procurement team and we will be responsible for high value and somewhat complex purchases from a wide variety of industries. Assist in initiating a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program with key indirect suppliers with formal KPIs (key performance indicators).
Job Duties:
• Vendor negotiations
• Vendor relationships
• Reporting and Analysis
• Comparative pricing
• Prepare order specs
Education – Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus
- 5-7 years relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic indirect procurement organization or equivalent (or through work at a top-tier management consultancy at such size organizations)
- Subject matter experience in multiple indirect procurement categories
- Experience working in a fast-growing company is a plus
