Job Summary:
The Executive Head Housekeeper at Holiday Inn Express - Marina State Beach is a key member of our hospitality team and is responsible for overseeing the hotel's housekeeping operations. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing a top-notch guest experience. The job is located in Marina, California and is an individual contributor role.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Executive Head Housekeeper will receive a competitive hourly wage between $17 to $19 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms and public areas are properly cleaned and maintained to hotel standards
- Develop and maintain a schedule for daily room cleaning, deep cleaning, and periodic maintenance tasks
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Inspect and monitor the cleanliness and functionality of guest rooms and public areas, and address any issues promptly
- Ensure all staff members adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance departments to address guest requests and resolve any maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and control housekeeping expenses and labor costs within budget constraints
- Handle guest complaints and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and identify areas for improvement
- Train new housekeeping staff and develop ongoing training programs for existing staff
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in housekeeping and implement best practices to continuously improve operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in hotel housekeeping
- In-depth knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in a hotel setting
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use housekeeping software and programs
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks

- Bilingual is a MUST.
