ELS is hiring for the position of Food & Beverage Manager in Okeechobee, Florida.Food & Beverage Manager

Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall success of the department. This position will directly manage all Food & Beverage hourly associates. The Beverage Manager will work closely with the Activities Director, and/or Property Manager to plan and execute the food and beverage programming for all special and Member events. This open position is located at Okeechobee KOA.

Reports to:

  • Property Manager

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:(Additional duties may be assigned)

  • Ensure payroll reports are submitted to appropriate departments correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure their food and beverage needs are met.
  • Engage with Events Department to coordinate overall F&B participation in special and member events
  • Develop and manage food and beverage training programs to ensure all hourly associates clearly understand performance expectations and how to navigate a personalized path of growth.
  • Support day-to-day FOH operations by being an active presence on the floor.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with our members and guests.
  • Hold associates accountable for completing work efficiently and accurately.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate changes or updates to associates.
  • Provide aid to all associates as needed. Support in handling guest inquires and requests, as well as resolving any guest complaints.
  • Develop and grow food, beer, wine, and cocktail programs, including retail beverage and events.

  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous management experience a plus but no required
