ABOUT US:

CenterPointe Hospital offers mental health treatment for adolescents, adults and senior adults, as well as active duty military, veterans and first responders. Our treatment services and programs are tailored to individual needs, enabling individuals to more effectively cope with emotions and behaviors that may be interfering with the attainment of a happy, successful life. The RN Manager is responsible for day to day oversite of nursing operations of the facility and ensures staffing is adequate to provide care. When scheduled, oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assumes responsibility for the complete facility ooperations during the assigned shift
Assists in evaluation of the staff's performance
Schedules staff according to accuity and budgetary guidelines
Communicates effectively with the Administrator-on-call
Collaborates with other team members in regard to patient care
Assist with planning and teaching staff development programs
Documents the treatment plan, nursing interventions and the patient's responses to the intervention

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
Three or more years’ experience in nursing practice required.
Two or more years’ experience in behavioral health preferred.
One or more years’ experience in a supervisory or charge position preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current RN license as required by state.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
