PAY RATE: FT Cosset Field Merchandiser = $17.25 / hour

MERCHANDISER JOB SUMMARY: Maximizes the retail experience through the development and daily management of wholesale accounts. Responsible for establishing contact with existing accounts, communication systems and selling techniques, identifying new opportunities for business growth, pro-active problem solving and following up customer needs. The Field Merchandiser will also monitor and drive inventory requirements, develop merchandising and visual presentation standards, coach product knowledge, communicate sales performance and suggested inventory levels and all other activities using company tools.

MERCHANDISER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute plans that deliver company directed targets.
• Manages the visual standards of displays including but not limited to marketing, cleanliness, merchandising standards, under-stock, backstock; and insures the presentation and safety of the display carts, parts, and props.
• Develops, plans, and executes launches via event planning with store, launch and discontinued inventory, marketing, merchandising and sell through strategies; directs the training and selling requirements.
• Supervises product delivery including but not limited to unloading, stocking, checking merchandise quality, and verifying, reviewing, and approving invoices.
• Monitors and investigates inventory discrepancies.
• Monitors visual presentation of merchandise.
• Reports on the status of merchandising efforts in an accurate and timely manner; analyzes data and directs changes to improve success of merchandising plans.
• Provides communication and training materials as needed on all features, benefits, and merchandising concepts of products.
• Works collaboratively with store managers, marketing team, and other departments/staff to ensure the success of merchandising programs and plans.
• Document and update all account information, communication, activities, needs, opportunities, and successes in the company account database.
• Travel to allocated store locations.
• Document work and travel details as directed by management and company systems.

MERCHANDISER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred be 25+ years of age (car rental).
• Required to have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Required to have reliable vehicle with state required insurance that can travel up to 300 miles a day and can hold a traveling toolkit provided by Cosset.
• Required to have a working Laptop, PC or equivalent (Chrome Book is not compatible).
• Required to use applications and camera on personal phone (reimbursement plan).
• Required to meet deadlines and scheduled conference calls.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years related merchandising and/or customer service experience or equivalent.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong visual merchandising skills.
• Read and follow plan-o-grams to effectively complete fixture set, reset, and remodel work.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to self-manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Competent on Microsoft systems: Excel, Word, Teams, One Note, and Outlook.
• Competent on Smartphone technology.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.

MERCHANDISER PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequently required to stand up to but not limited to 5 consecutive hours.
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity when merchandising.
• Frequently required to bend, squat, and reach.
• Frequently required to use a computer and keyboard.
• Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 40 pounds.
• Continually required to drive in all-weather conditions.
