Lawn Aeration Tech

The Lawn Aeration Technician position is to perform all aeration services within the region as needed. The technician will need to identify all concerns in the lawn prior to treatment to ensure no damage is caused to landscape or irrigation. Additional services may be required depending on work availability including but not limited to Universal Technician responsibilities.

Duties include:

• Complete the application of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides on a preset daily route
• Identify lawn and or pest problems and develop solutions to those problems
• Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external
• Safely drive a company vehicle
• Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents
• Provide customers with general information about our various services
• Conduct service calls as needed
• Problem solving and/or complaint resolution

Requirements:

• Must enjoy working outdoors
• Must enjoy hands on work
• Ability to safely drive a large, heavy lawn truck
• No fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.
• Able to withstand long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, squatting
• Be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be competent with the use of new technology
• Be organized and able to manage their own daily route

To be qualified:

• At least 21 years of age
• Have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violations

High school diploma or equivalent

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. Some Saturdays may be required.

Travel:

Local daily travel within the assigned territory.
