Imua Family Services is looking for an Occupational Therapist to become a part of our team. This position will provide comprehensive services designed to focus on the functional needs of the child related to adaptive development, adaptive behavior and play, and sensory, motor, and postural development.

This position also provides occupational therapy consultation to programs as well as support and services for children (0-8) in their natural environments for children and families with developmental delays. Minimum Qualifications

  1. Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college/university required or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy with 2 years of experience.
  2. Pediatric experience with birth to eight populations is preferred.
  3. Holds a current NBCOT Certification and a Hawaii state license in Occupational Therapy, or can obtain one at start of hire date.

Salary commensurate on experience and State of Hawaii contract.

This position is responsible for the provision of family-centered culturally competent OT services for children and their families, birth to age eight with typical development and developmental delays. This position provides interim and on-going care coordination services to families receiving services from Imua Family Services. The individual compiles information and the data necessary for programming and for accurate reports and billing to the Department of Health, Medicare medical insurance, and various funding sources. Essential duties and responsibilities also include providing information to other professionals and the community as well as conducting other clerical work and administrative duties as required.
