Parts Service Writer (Small Engine, Diesel Repair)

Mowbility Sales & Service is a small business in Pella, IA. We are professional, customer-centric and fun.

Mowbility has 2 stores, in Pella and Des Moines, with an incredible, ambitious team! Family owned, 3rd generation business that has such a massive upside, along with an amazing customer base. We sell, service and warranty different types of equipment.. i.e. mowers, tractors, trailers, handheld equipment, grills, UTV's, hot tubs.

Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Write up service orders and accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues
- Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Provide estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval
- Schedule appointments and manage the service schedule
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts
- Maintain accurate records of all service transactions
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Provide updates to customers on the status of their equipment repairs

Requirements:
- Knowledge of diesel & small engine repair, tire service and oil change procedures would be extremely helpful
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer concerns and vehicle issues
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
