Position Summary:

With our vast growth and the need to recognize, retain, and reward Milan employees, we are looking for a strategic leader who will stand-up and lead our Total Rewards function. The ideal candidate will have experience serving as a strategic leader to ensure compensation, benefits, and recognition programs are designed to attract, retain, motivate, and engage a diverse workforce. This position will partner closely with Milan leadership on program design and report directly into the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Status: Full-time, Onsite
Location: Omaha, NE

Responsibilities Include:
  • Establish and drive Milan's Total Rewards strategy and vision aligning with Milan's overall business strategy
  • Design Total Rewards program ensuring Compensation & Benefits are competitive with the external market and labor trends
  • Design and support the maintenance of executive compensation strategies and compliance requirements
  • Develop short-term & long-term incentive programs tied to Milan's overall goals
  • Design and lead the execution of a Recognition program and measure the success
  • Provide strategic direction of job classification methodology and conduct analysis of jobs in order to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Designs, communicates, and manages all elements of incentive programs including guidelines and eligibility
  • Oversee the review, communication, and implementation of the annual benefit open enrollment process
  • Create and implement a set of KPIs for Total Rewards and set up a cadence for internal review
  • Provide team leadership while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance and fun!

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, accounting or related field
  • 10+ years of Total Rewards rewards experience including program design and administration, 5+ years in a Total Rewards leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience working in the employee benefits field, including strategic planning and program design, budget forecasting, cost benefit analysis, vendor management, and communication planning
  • Strong experience leading and implementing Total Rewards programs and projects in the areas of Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition
  • Proven ability to set a strategy and execute a plan that delivers results for the organization.
  • Creates a data-driven environment by using facts and data to understand complex issues and make sound decisions
  • Demonstrated passion for wowing customers with world-class customer service by going above and beyond
  • Operates with personal ownership by setting goals and implementing plans, while looking for ways to improve individual and/or team performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Commitment to excellence and strong sense of accountability
  • Have a hands-on work style, be a team player, and always willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

  • Requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods.
