What You'll Do... As the Accounts Receivable Specialist with American Pest, processing payments and the all important job bringing in money falls on you! You'll ensure all transactions are processed on a daily bases. You'll be responsible for all daily ACH And EFT processing as well as check processing. You'll also investigate and resolve customer questions on payments and applications, flagging any issues with the management team to ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful AR Specialist at American Pest? For starters, you'll have 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. You'll also have...

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business (preferred)
  • Two or more years of experience in payment processing and bank transactions
  • Familiarity with different bank transactions and processing of remits
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Ability to process 50+ payments daily
  • Experience using MS Windows/Office and cloud-based software
  • The ability to work well under pressure of deadlines
  • The ability to effectively manage your time, prioritize multiple tasks, and maximize performance while remaining customer-focused
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to be a positive, professional, upbeat, team player
  • Strong follow-up skills, high attention to detail, and a desire for getting things right
  • A desire to work as part of a team and to provide backup when necessary for team members
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
