KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance and data recovery services, is currently seeking an Associate Network Administrator for an exciting new opportunity.

As an Associate Network Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the Company networks. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The person will also analyze and resolve or escalate ticket service requests and assist in troubleshooting network communication issues with other IT teams.

This is a hybrid position with occasional visits to our Eden Prairie and Brooklyn Park datacenters required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform network administration tasks (ex: ACLs, 802.1x groups, and device provisioning); research event-log warning and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that network architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network-related hardware.
  • Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, etc. in accordance with security standards and operational requirements.
  • Assist with deployment and provisioning activities.
  • Maintain and update system networking devices.
  • Execute appropriate documentation, inventory, and related IT control procedures.
  • Assist other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide technical support when needed.
  • Maintain documentation of systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years' experience in an IT Support or Network Administration role.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and experience supporting an IT 24x7 production environment using best practice Network Administration skills.
  • Demonstrate Entry-level knowledge and experience in implementation and ongoing support of global network environment.
  • Entry-level understanding of WAN connectivity protocols and solutions including but not limited to: MPLS, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, PTPs, etc.
  • Entry-level understanding of layer 2 technologies including but not limited to: STP, VPC, MLAG, 802.3ad, ARP, etc.
  • Entry-level understanding of load balancing technologies, NAT/PAT, ACLs, traffic shaping.
  • Effective troubleshooting, problem solving, creative/analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Working understanding of hardware/software upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of problem management, incident management and change control processes.
