Role Description

Form Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Services Manager to join our talented and growing manufacturing facilities team within the operations group at our first-of-its-kind high-volume advanced battery manufacturing facility in our Weirton, WV, location.

This team focuses on meeting Form Factory One's (FF1) operational needs, including facilities management, planning, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. We will employ over 750 people at FF1 and have an annual production capacity of 500 megawatts of our novel iron-iron battery energy storage system.

The Facilities Services Manager is a new position that reports to the Facilities Manager. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include interfacing with vendors and employees on the floor to monitor, evaluate, and manage performance and supporting and coordinating all facility services, vendors, and contractors for the Form Factory 1 location.

What you'll do:

  • Draft and review contracts needed to support the facility, including but not limited to vendor agreements, service contracts, and client agreements

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess vendor performance and address issues or concerns

  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with Form rules and contract terms and conditions

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and incorporate them into contractual agreements

  • Generate regular reports on contract status, milestones, and performance metrics

What you'll bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience assisting with managing and coordinating facility services, vendors, and contractors, ideally in a manufacturing facility or similar role

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions

  • Detail-oriented with well-developed organizational, communication, and time-management skills

  • Proficient in contract management software (CMMS) and comfortable using Google Workspace and Office 365

  • Degree or professional certifications are a plus
