Hunter Hamilton is seeking a motivated, energetic Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our valued client in their Overland Park, KS headquarters. This position is responsible for the full-cycle management of accounts receivables in a fast-paced environment. Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of business-to-business collections experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP systems preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging accounts are up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  • Perform collection calls and correspondence for assigned client accounts.
  • Record bank deposits and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
  • Perform weekly follow up on accounts 60, 90, and 120 days overdue.
  • Respond to customer correspondence related to payment inquiries.
  • Download batches from lockbox daily, posting payments and processing ACHs.
  • Deposit, post, and code checks received in the mail.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts as needed.
