Virtual School Psychologist - Michigan

Sunbelt is looking to fill a fully virtual position as a school psychologist in Michigan

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' educational needs and eligibility for special education services.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide effective interventions.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students, addressing their unique challenges.
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans to foster a positive and inclusive digital learning environment.
• Support teachers by providing strategies and recommendations to enhance students' academic and social-emotional growth.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop appropriate support plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist license.
• Previous experience working in school settings, addressing social and emotional issues.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Organizational and time management ability
