Location Description:
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space.

Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Dishwasher/Steward to join the team at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa. The Steward supports the restaurant and banquet team by ensuring pots, pans, dishware and utensils are clean. Assures that boxes and trash are removed at the appropriate times from the kitchen and placed in the proper location for removal from property.
Monitor needs, cleanliness and accessibility in all kitchen and hall areas.
Check cleaning standards of all glassware, China, and make sure all silver is thoroughly cleaned, checked and in place for dining/room/banquet service.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machines.
Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly within the dish pit.
Monitor cleaning and sanitizing standards per Health Department.
Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
Ensure all prep stations and equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
Ensure that all handwashing stations within the kitchen are always stocked with soap and hand towels.
Ensure that the trash compactor and disposal areas are always clean and free of collateral.
Ensure that Compactor area is pressure washed at least once monthly when the compactor is picked up or as instructed. Ensure all kettles are cleaned when shift begins.
Wash all pots and pans and store neatly.
All food stains, smoke stain, etc. must be removed before storage takes place.
Floor and trashcans must stay clean.
Keep the workspace clear.
All counters must be cleaned at the end of the shift.
Meet all cleaning and sanitation requirements.
Assist in the set up and breakdown of banquet functions Job-Related Physical Requirements This position requires the employee to engage in Frequent Walking, Bending, Balancing, Pushing, Pulling, Carrying up to 50lbs, Gross Motor Skills, Far Vision, Hearing, Reaching, Manual Dexterity, Eye Hand Coordination, Near Vision & Color Recognition; Occasional Crouching, Crawling & Kneeling; Constant Standing The position involves the following Environmental Factors:
