General Maintenance Mechanic - 029 Camden, NJ, USA Req #255 Monday, March 4, 2024 U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic for its Camden NJ location – The Salvation Army Kroc Center. The Maintenance Mechanic is a fully functioning position primarily in the general building trade area (light plumbing, bulb changing, drywall repairs and painting). This position’s focus will be on performing preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnosing / troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing a variety of facilities related repairs, and minor fabrications. Additionally, this position requires weekend hours (Sat/Sun) – with Thursday and Friday off. Tasks may include maintenance, repairs and assisting the Building Engineer, as well as other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Responsibilities: 3 to 5 years of experience performing general building maintenance Ability to prep, paint, and touch up surfaces Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose/repair and troubleshoot equipment A demonstrated history of being a dependable and cohesive team member Required to work weekend schedule as a regular work week: Saturday through Wednesday Comply with all company safety regulations Effectively communicate issues to the project manager Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion Follow written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients Collaborate with the maintenance team and contractors as needed Use equipment, including power tools and hand tools U.S. Facilities, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individual with Disabilities #USFIND01 Other details Pay Type Hourly Apply Now
