Lathe Machinist
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 5:30 am – 2:00 pm
Pay Range: $18- $26

Essential Functions:
- Set up 2-axis CNC lathe machines for repeat jobs as per process sheets.
- Manage CNC programs for lathe machine setup and operation.
- Interpret manufacturing paperwork to meet customer specifications.
- Inspect own work before submission for quality assurance.
- Adhere to work schedules and process necessary paperwork.
- Communicate production issues and suggestions for improvement.
- Perform hand-work operations as needed.
- Update and optimize cycle times.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe machine experience preferred.
- Proficient in understanding and editing CNC lathe programs.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and blueprint reading.
- Strong shop math skills for measurement conversion.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including manufacturing software.
Physical Demands:
- Walking, standing, bending, and lifting objects up to 25lbs.
- Repetitive motions involving arms, wrists, and hands.
- Perceiving object attributes and effective communication.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to machinery in a machine shop environment.
- Clean and well-ventilated production areas.
- Use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses.
- Moderate noise levels.
