At AmanaCare, we provide faithful, personalized in-home assistance to seniors and disabled or recovering adults. We are seeking a supervisor caregiver for the Hastings and Grand Island area. This position would be responsible for scheduling weekly care hours between clients and caregivers and for providing in-home care to clients as needed.

 


We offer resources to benefits and competitive pay, up to $3.00 above the eastern Nebraska average and 20% higher than the national average. All training is paid, including classes through Care Academy and ongoing training and development. Time and mileage is paid for any commute that is 30 miles or father, and for any errands or appointments within shifts.

 


Responsibilities include:

 


Creating and managing client and caregiver schedules.
Non-medical in-home caregiving, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and assisting with tasks like light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to and from appointments.
Maintaining strong channels of communication with caregivers, clients, and office administration.
Resolving challenges or issues as they arise.
Ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
Reporting any incidents involving client health/safety/satisfaction to appropriate administration in a timely manner.

 

Experience/Skills:

 


Problem-solving in unexpected situations.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Superior phone etiquette and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals.
Detail-oriented with good multi-tasking ability.
Knowledge of general care for the elderly and disabled or recovering persons.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.
