We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our progressive Engineering team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and improving the performance and reliability of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in our industrial manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electrical equipment and components, including PLCs, HMIs, Allen Bradley, and Kawasaki. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial electrical equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and repair issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems and components.
3. Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, with a focus on Allen Bradley and Kawasaki systems.
4. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
5. Work closely with the Engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures.
6. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
7. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
8. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work carried out, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician or a similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial electrical equipment and machinery.
3. Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs, particularly Allen Bradley and Kawasaki.
4. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems and components.
5. Electrical Journeyman certification or equivalent qualification.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
8. Excellent communication and team-working skills.
9. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
10. Willingness to stay updated with advancements in industrial technology and maintenance techniques.
