Legacy Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent organizational and leadership skills. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Legacy Building Solutions is an established and growing fabric building manufacturer located near St Cloud, MN.  We manufacture tension fabric buildings using a rigid steel frame with a fabric outer membrane. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but not limited to

• Provide day to day management of the overall construction function to ensure contractual schedules and commitments are met.
• Represent the company on technical and contractual issues and provide relevant expertise to support overall project execution and construction management
• Be a significant partner with our sales team and effectively work with them in planning, selling and implementing construction projects.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and employees.
• Implement processes to oversee and monitor site schedule to identify issues and take proactive measures to maintain progress of construction.
• Develop and maintain worksite safety program, to include: Job Hazard Analysis; Job Safety Analysis; daily safety meetings and enforcing safe work procedures
• Analyze, manage and mitigate jobsite risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Establishing and maintaining department budget

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management is preferred; construction management experience may be substituted
• Certified in safety management, preferred
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Steel building construction experience
• Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience in the construction field.
• Team player that maintains high integrity while meeting company goals

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and negotiation skills
• Knowledgeable in all Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) 
• Ability to travel as and when required
• Deadline and detail oriented
