Job Summary: Lead a mission driven Account Management team to cultivate and strengthen partnerships with existing and prospective dealers through a growth-oriented and relationship-based management strategy.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Demonstrate the execution of the Novae LLC mission by modeling behavior in alignment.
  • Guide day to day activities of account management team; resolve concerns and problems with the team using Novae’s Guiding Questions.
  • Identify needs and coordinate training of the account management team to build skills and help people develop to their fullest potential.
  • Provide on-going performance feedback to team members through formal and informal channels; including recognition and regular performance evaluation.
  • Establish targets, forecasts and budgets for the Sales function, and drive execution of key growth initiatives.
  • Execute forecasted sales objectives by supporting the account management team to manage and strengthen existing accounts and establish new accounts and by planning and organizing the workload of the team.
  • Teach and coach Account Managers to employ a consultative approach with dealers regarding product usage, product features demonstration, pricing, availability, and overall growth strategies.
  • Monitor market conditions, industry innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales for trends and changes that will affect our brands and/or our dealer network. Develop and implement responses to observations and achieve objectives.
  • Work with marketing team to create necessary content and collateral to train dealers’ team members to sell, operate and maintain new equipment, effectively communicate our value proposition, and provide updates on any new selling features. Actively participate in trade shows and conventions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create and negotiate details of dealer-specific agreements and sales incentives.
  • Continually look for ways to improve the overall performance of yourself and your account management team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong customer service skills with proven experience in conflict resolution.
  • Proven experience in negotiating outcomes that align with organizational strategies.
  • Experience conducting and sharing market research.
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual, and related software.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with an inclination to consistently apply critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Able to balance overnight travel requirements of approximately 15% to 20% per year.
  • Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical in order to drive Sales truck while pulling trailers to demonstrate products to dealers while traveling.
