Agent Support staff members handle all questions, concerns, and escalations in designated location(s). They assist clients as needed and make sure that all agencies are running smoothly, and complicated situations are managed appropriately and in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities

· Supports agent(s) on promoting and selling different types of insurance policies to individuals on behalf of insurance companies which involve personal and commercial automobile, motorcycle, RV’s, boat, homeowners, renters, and other recreational products.

· Understand the requirements of the customer and customize insurance plans to fit the need of each individual.

· Stay up to date on services, products and plans offered at the Agency.

· Handle escalations as needed, speaking directly with clients when appropriate.

· Oversee the roll out of new product offerings and special sales events.

· Additional administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:


· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to analyze client’s requirements and think critically to find the best solutions for their needs.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Well organized and detail oriented.

· Expert knowledge about the insurance industry and LA’s product offerings.

· A team player who is punctual and possesses a strong work ethic.

· Strong computer skills.

· Responsible, trust-worthy, with the ability to problem solve independently.

· Effective at multi-tasking and prioritization.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.

· Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers.

· Experience working in a high volume, high energy, fast paced sales environment.

· Experience in prospecting, cultivating, and maintaining new and existing relationships.


Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates:

· High School Diploma or GED.
