Job Purpose

The Super Trainer is responsible for ensuring the high-quality training of all new Bike staff in their region, leading New Bike Training and Camp Leader Training. They support and mentor trainers, providing feedback and coaching during training days. Super Trainers deliver the Pedalheads way to running a camp that ensures we are creating “breakthrough, happy dancing, high-fiving, “I did it!” moments” through biking.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Train Camp Leaders at Train-The-Trainer.
  • Lead New Bike Training.
  • Manage the training day itself:
    1. Coordinating and driving equipment.
    2. Oversee agenda and structure.
    3. Provide feedback and support to Trainers.
  • Deliver Camp Leader Training alongside Regional or City Manager.
  • Know and understand all training materials.
Competencies
  • Confident leader.
  • Training, coaching and feedback experience.
  • Strong voice, confident speaking to large groups of up to 70 people.
  • Adaptable with problem-solving skills.
  • Professional representation of Pedalheads.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Experience managing a Pedalheads camp is an asset.
Pay
  • A flat rate of $300 per day for any trainings attended or delivered. This includes:
    1. A full day of training.
    2. Transporting equipment to and from training locations, in line with our travel policy.
    3. Set-up and pack down.
    4. Preparation time, e.g. learning your Trainer Guide.
    5. Administrative tasks such as taking and uploading attendance.
