Job Description
Assist Residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting and transferring, may include feeding, incontinence care and repositioning in bed/chair and assistance with ambulating. Must complete two hour rounds to ensure the whereabouts, safety and wellbeing of all residents.
Assist residents meals, and snacks according to daily care plan. Report and document changes in resident' condition to supervisor. Read and follow physician's orders and plan of care. Report and document accidents and incidents:
Communicate with staff reporting for duty on the next shift. Understand and follow safety and sanitation rules, and promptly report any violations to designated supervisor and or Administrator. Attend orientation, staff meetings, in-services and training required by DSS and management.
Understands, complies with and promotes all rules regarding Residents Rights and assist residents in exercising these rights.
Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, vendors, families and governmental regulators to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
