Vice President - Growth in K-12 Facilities

Part-Time

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Growth in K-12 Facilities to help drive the continued expansion of our K-12 Facilities Practice, with a primary focus on the California market and beyond. As part of our efforts to grow the facilities business, you will help lead a team of experienced professionals dedicated to crafting tailored solutions for our clients. Your leadership will ensure that we deliver impactful work that directly benefits students and positively impacts their learning environments. Through strategic guidance and collaboration, you will drive our team to exceed client expectations and achieve measurable results in the K-12 Facilities space.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Strategic Vision and Portfolio Development

  • Develop and articulate a strategic vision for the growth and expansion of our K-12 facilities portfolio, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for portfolio enhancement, including new market segments, service offerings, and strategic partnerships, to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to strengthen our position in the K-12 facilities sector, leveraging insights from market research, client feedback, and industry best practices.
  • Engage actively in CASH (Coalition for Adequate School Housing) conferences, events, and related activities to build our client network.

Client Delivery and Management

  • Deliver on client projects within the K-12 facilities sector, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customized solutions that address clients' specific needs and challenges in the K-12 facilities space.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, fostering strong relationships and proactively identifying opportunities for expanding our services and maximizing client satisfaction.

Team and Organizational Leadership

  • Mentor and guide a team of professionals within the K-12 Facilities group, providing ongoing support and coaching to help them achieve their full potential and excel in their roles.
  • Lead by example, setting a high standard of excellence in performance and professionalism, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Encourage collaboration, creativity, and innovation among team members, empowering them to leverage their diverse skills and expertise to drive growth and deliver exceptional results in the K-12 Facilities market.
  • Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, transparency, fairness, and continuous improvement that values learning and equity.
  • Self-motivate and demonstrate capacity to prioritize, ensuring time is spent on highest leverage actions.

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on evaluation projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without disruption of service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in driving growth and expansion efforts within the K-12 Facilities sector.
  • Fifteen (15) years or more years working with K-12 education policies and practices, with a proven track record of leveraging this knowledge to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong partnerships.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a team of experienced professionals.
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Twenty (20) years or more years working with K-12 education policies and practices.
