Exciting Opportunity: Lead the Gaming Experience as our Director of Operations!

Ultimate Staffing is on the lookout for a dynamic Director of Operations-Gaming to join a thriving entertainment venue in the heart of Clayton County, Iowa. This role offers a competitive salary of $77-85k (depending on experience), plus a 15% bonus and relocation assistance of up to $5k for qualified candidates.

Minimum of 2 years of Slot Management experience required.

Overview: As the Director of Operations, you'll be at the helm of planning, organizing, and directing the activities of Facilities, Beverage, Slots, and Table Games for the property. Your mission? To deliver exceptional guest service to both internal and external guests, setting the standard for excellence in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure unwavering high-quality service to our team members and guests alike.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the efficient operation of assigned departments.
  • Oversee budgeting and strategic planning for responsible departments.
  • Lead a team of passionate individuals to optimize departmental performance.
  • Uphold compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies across all departments.
  • Delegate authority and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Establish performance standards emphasizing quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Safeguard sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Produce detailed reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Manage guest service issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Communicate vital information to senior staff and relevant team members.
  • Maintain flexible availability to accommodate business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Slot Management experience is a must.
  • 5-7 years' experience in managing teams within gaming, hospitality, or entertainment preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
