Job Description
Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance:
Greet and welcome customers, creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere in the showroom.
Understand customer's flooring needs and provide informative assistance without engaging in sales pitches.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the features, benefits, and specifications of different flooring products.
Assist customers in exploring various flooring materials, styles and installation options.
Samples and swatches:
Maintain a well organized sample area with accesible product samples and swatches.
Aid customers in obtaining and comparing samples to facilitate their decision making process.
Quotations and Estimates:
Collaborate with sales representatives to support in preparing quotations and estimates for customers.
Provide customers with information on pricing, installation costs and other relevant details.
Showroom Maintenance:
Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
Update product displays to showcase new arrivals and promotions.
Follow-Up:
Maintain a follow-up system to check in with customers post-visit and address any additional questions they may have.
Gather feedback on the showroom experience to identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with colleages, including sales teams, to ensure a cohesive and customer-focused showroom environment.
Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in interior design, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Ability to lift and move flooring samples.
Basic computer skills for logging customer interactions and maintaining showroom records.
Knowledge of residential flooring materials and installation processes.
