We are looking for a Service Manager Intern who is outgoing, possess a strong work ethic, and who can provide professional, top notch service.

Job Description

As a Service Manager Intern at Mau Marine, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Parts Manager and Service Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include managing incoming parts requests, invoicing parts for external and internal customers, and aiding in parts receiving processes.

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities will be expected for this position:

  • Assist the Service Manager in daily operations related to boat maintenance, repair, and service scheduling.
  • Learn and understand our service offerings, operational processes, and systems to efficiently support customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with marine technicians to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, providing valuable support.
  • Aid Parts Manager in inventory management, parts ordering, and ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Engage in customer service interactions, addressing inquiries, and providing information on service options.
  • Create daily cash deposits for the Service Office
  • Develop and generate reports from EVO and other web-based systems
  • Support the Shipping and Receiving Clerk in receiving parts and merchandise
  • Assist in Mau Marine special events as needed
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned and fulfill other duties directed by management

Requirements

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Admin, Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • Passion for boating and a keen interest in learning about marine service operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn new systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in technical contexts
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Punctuality and flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet operational requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record, meeting legal requirements for operating vehicles
