Childrens Residential Staff

Want to make a difference in the lives of children? Morrison Center is seeking caring, creative, patient, and dedicated individuals to work in our Children’s Residential Care Facility in a beautiful, peaceful setting in New Gloucester or Scarborough. Our staff support children and adolescents ages 5-18 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with autism and/or physical and cognitive handicaps.

Responsibilities include

-Working with children on meaningful daily activities using planned methods to achieve established goals

-Helping children with feeding, bathing, and personal care

-Maintaining records and progress notes

-Working and communicating effectively with the team, supervisors, clinicians, and therapists

-Participating in daily chores and home cleaning/maintenance

-Participating in on-going training and staff meetings

Shifts available:

New Gloucester: Wednesday through Saturday Overnights and Evenings available

Scarborough: Wednesday through Saturday Overnights

Education and Requirements:

• Must complete and pass DHHS fingerprinting and background checks
• HS diploma/GED required.
• Willingness to learn. All trainings provided by Morrison Center

Pay and Benefits:

Hourly wage starts at $18.50/hr and is based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
