Transdev is actively hiring bus drivers for their fixed route transit service in Nassau County, NY. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers to help passengers move around throughout Nassau County using public transportation. What you will be doing:

  • Drive a transit bus and transport passengers around Nassau County, NY in safe and courteous manner
  • Greet passengers, ensure fare payment and maintain a safe environment
  • Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
  • Other duties as required

Who you are:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • A valid NY State CDL Class B or higher driver's license with full passenger air brakes in good standing is required.
  • Must present an original Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) issued within the last 30 days  
  • Previous bus or heavy duty vehicle driving experience preferred
  • Excellent customer and communication skills
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
