Reports to: Maintenance Manager/Yard Supervisor

Pay rate: $16.28

Position type: Variable hours – health benefits after 1 year and 1456 hours worked.

Summary:

The Yard Maintenance crew ensures a clean attractive resort environment by maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the property. This position is seasonal.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Responsible Job Skills.

2. Required valid Driver's License plus 1 years of driving experience.

3. Able to safely lift 50 pounds, and carry loads up stairs and lift items overhead.

4. Constant walking, standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, and moving during working hours.

5. Ability to easily take direction and contribute to a team atmosphere.

6. Must have enough English language skills to take direction, communicate and perform job standards.

7. Ability to safely operate lawn mowers and small power tools.

8. Enthusiastic about serving the public.

9. Self-motivated: can find work to do without supervision.

10. Willing to learn and do new jobs.

11. Hard Worker, likes manual labor; likes working outside

12. Positive Attitude; Conscientious

13. Minimum 16 years of age.

Essential Functions:

1. Arrive on time and be ready to work when shift begins.

2. Collect garbage and keep cans and dumpsters clean, in order to maintain a clean, attractive resort environment for our guests.

3. Clean sidewalks and parking lots. Rake and keep beaches clear of debris.

4. Clear drift wood and debris from swimming area.

5. Keep lawns watered and change sprinklers when needed.

6. Distribute and collect rollaways and cribs.

7. Wash and keep clean all resort vehicles.

8. Store tools in their proper places.

9. Strip rooms and flip mattresses for housekeeping department when needed.

10. To answer guests' questions, be knowledgeable about Campbell's services and history, and Lake Chelan recreational opportunities.

11. Wear a clean uniform and maintain a clean, well-groomed neat appearance.

12. Act as a team member: show enthusiasm and help other staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Ask for help when you need it.

13. Maintain a professional attitude and presence at all times.

14. Act as a role model for other staff.

15. At the end of your shift, follow procedures listed in job standards.

16. Offer whatever assistance guests need.

17. Suggest improvements to managers to improve the quality of our guest service.

18. Follow all safety standards and use proper personal protective equipment.

19. Remove excess floats and beach toys from beaches.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a variable-hour position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adapt schedule to meet business demands.
