Job Duties:

  • Foster a long-term partnership among members, associates, and vendors to promote sustainable Total Wellness across physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, ecological, and financial aspects.
  • Provide Relational Service to members and guests, focusing on personalized, attentive care.
  • Maintain attention to Details, ensuring high-quality products and services for members.
  • Strive for Continuous Improvement in all areas, including knowledge, quality, consistency, service, products, safety, wellness, and member satisfaction.
  • Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system, describing menu items and specials to guests.
  • Interact with bartenders to set up drink glasses and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to ensure clear communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Upsell menu items or specials to maximize revenue, accommodating special guest requests.
  • Serve menu items promptly and courteously, monitoring meal progression and addressing guest needs.
  • Perform pre- and post-shift side work, including stocking service stations and settling customer payments.
  • Assist hosts/hostesses with greeting and seating guests, as well as filling glasses.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and respond to guest inquiries about food and beverage offerings.
  • Monitor and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, responding promptly to any requests or concerns.
  • Clear tables between courses and assist with food delivery, maintaining table tidiness throughout the meal.
  • Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to the Food & Beverage Supervisor.
  • Attend educational staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Background/Experience:

  • Completion of some high school education.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (due to alcohol service requirements).
  • Minimum 1+ years of prior serving experience in a quality club, hotel, or restaurant.
  • Knowledge of fine wines and food is preferred.
  • Strong listening and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mentality.
  • Demonstrated adherence to quality standards for safety, sanitation, and food handling.
  • Experience using computers.
  • Willingness to work weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.
