Job Description

As a Digital & IT Analyst you are expected to be an advanced professional in business analytics and business processes. The Digital & IT Analyst will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and responsible for maintaining and supporting the end users and workstation environment at the Cambridge Springs and Saegertown facilities. This person will have a desk at both sites, weekly travelling between these two locations on a regular cadence. The Digital & IT Analyst will provide best in class customer service in carrying out their duties which includes installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware, software, and a variety of IT processes and manufacturing applications that are critical to day-to-day business operations. This role will also support end users with advanced questions or problems by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.

  • As an SME, support the resolution of technical problems associated with critical situations.
  • Manage incidents and requests in coordination with the global IT service desk, utilizing ITIL foundational principles.
  • Serve as the link between end users and business applications from a technical and process perspective.
  • Provide direct interaction with internal customers, including, but not limited to, investigating comprehensive business requirements and use cases, and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve problems to drive results.
  • Understand the business impact of all IT decisions.
  • Communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.
  • Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects.
  • Stay abreast of new Digital and IT technological innovation/processes and researches the usage at Parker.
  • Prepare budgets for various IT capital and expense initiatives.
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle of on-site assets.
  • Manage maintenance contracts and providers of outsourced services, deploy equipment, and recommend, plan, and oversee periodic equipment refresh.
  • Develop training materials to support process changes and new technology introductions.
  • Evaluate unplanned requests and determine appropriate priority and action.
  • Coordinate with company leadership to determine new technologies and enhancements for the company's systems.
  • Follow established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area.
  • Provide after-hour technical support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an information technology role or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a support or service role, actively interacting with customers on a regular basis.
  • At least 3 years of experience with maintenance and repair of computer hardware.
  • Microsoft Active Directory applications.
  • Business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • IT Service Management ticketing tool such as ServiceNow, preferred.
  • Manufacturing environment, preferred.

Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation, strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional, preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert preferred.
  • CompTIA A+, preferred

Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to apply innovative thinking toward problem resolution.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Physical Demands:
