We're looking for curious individuals to apply for this role! A competitive candidate will have energy toward problem-solving and process improvement. An ideal candidate will also have some accounting experience from one or more related jobs or internships.

The basics:

• Perform basic accounting tasks, such as weekly payroll reconciliations, intracompany transfer entries, or invoicing.
• Execute system support tasks, such as cost center and profit center setup and modification.
• Assist with month, quarter, and year end close duties as needed.

• Participate in compliance initiatives, including documenting and improving existing internal controls.

A day in the life may include...

• Collaborating with the global accounting team on resolving complex financial issues, managing projects, and improving month end close processes.
• Researching and resolving intracompany transaction variances.

• Improving documentation of desktop processes.
• Developing and implementing new accounting methods and processes, as well as improvements to automated accounting processes.
• Ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards.

Required:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must be willing and able to obtain clearance(s) through the US Department of Defense

What will put you ahead:

• SAP experience
• General knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• DFARS and CAS standards knowledge
