POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Wet Plant Manager, this position is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the drain fields and plant facilities to ensure maximum effectiveness and performance that contributes to the overall production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

1. Performs general labor activities, such as shoveling, sweeping, monitoring, and maintaining drain field lines.

2. Conducts pre-operation checks on equipment.

3. Cleans, lubricates and fuels all equipment and maintains a clean work site by performing general site housekeeping activities.

4. Ensures safety fences, markings, berms are all in place.

5. Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.

6. Notifies supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be done.

7. Assists with diagnosing and trouble-shooting maintenance related issues.

8. Performs preventive maintenance activities as required.

9. Assists maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repairs.

10. May train in other functional areas of the plant, including Wet Plant, Dry Plant and Loadout Operations

11. Complete work in a safe and timely fashion, ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed.

12. Performs other related duties as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

1.High School Diploma or GED required

2.Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation and records

Experience & Skills:

1. 1+ Years’ Experience in Sand Processing

2. Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment.

3. Must understand or have familiarity with all power and small tools.

Physical Demands:

F (Frequently) - Position requires carrying, pushing, and pulling 75 pounds of weight from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs./day)

Other Physical Requirements:

1. Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, climb, walk and move about the facility and property grounds.

2. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things.

3. Frequently lift 75 lbs. or more.

4. Frequently climbs ladders and stairs.

Work Environment:

Work performed in a plant environment. Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Safety glasses, hard hat and steel toe boots must be worn at all times.

Auditory and fall protection applicable when required.
