JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for establishing process, policies and acceptance criteria to ensure the production of brass ammunition casings is in full conformance to specifications in addition to implementing these processes throughout the entire facility.
- Responsible for identifying non-conformances during production runs, registering the defects and taking corrective action to correct the root causes.
- Provide leadership and expertise and serve as the main technical interface between quality managers and quality engineers in manufacturing, assembly and supplier areas.
- The responsibility to develop, implement, audit and coordinate programs designed to assure the production of parts and associated documentation or testing in strict conformance to the requirements of our customers.
- Collection and statistical analysis of data related to internal and supplier quality, leading of corrective action, problem solving (e.g. Six-Sigma) and improvement opportunities such as manufacturing & design engineering, quality, supply chain and production.
- Provide expertise, experience and knowledge of the practice of quality assurance and quality control programs and systems.
- Ensure all product complies with governmental specifications/standards (ISO, Military Specifications and Standards, Technical Data Packages, ASTM specifications) and initiate COC on new development.
- Provide expertise in quality system compliance and customer specific requirements and product.
