About The Role

The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly operations. This includes performing repetitive tasks and using the skills and tools required to perform these tasks. Performs all aspects of assembly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is part of a team responsible for the inspection, testing, assembly, troubleshooting and repairing of our advanced electronic assemblies and systems.
  • The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician will be required to read shop floor orders, follow written assembly procedures and drawings or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician will also assist with post-delivery support and will be required to comply with existing quality processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous electro-mechanical manufacturing experience.
  • Previous torque screwdriver manufacturing experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic printed circuit cards assembly and/or test
  • Basic knowledge of ESD mitigation and protection
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of fastener hardware and torque.
  • Must possess the ability to work with small assembly items, e.g., screws, washers etc.
  • Must have experience using hand tools, e.g., torque drivers, torque wrenches, etc.
  • Must have operator experience of computer keyboard.
  • Professional, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Generate failure analysis and problem reports to management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous RF electronics manufacturing experience.
  • Previous exposure to ISO9001 processes and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge in operation of Linux operating system.
  • Self-motivated and able to make progress with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and attention to detail.
