We are looking for a Director of Wellness to join our team! You will play a crucial role in shaping the health and happiness of our residents while enjoying a fulfilling and rewarding career.

What you'll be doing:

* Supervise and lead a team of caring professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
* Coordinate Resident Care Programs to ensure compliance with state regulations and Volante Senior Living policies.
* Conduct pre-admission screenings and assessments, interviewing residents and families with empathy and understanding.
* Evaluate resident care needs and determine the required level of care, adapting to changes in conditions.
* Maintain accurate records of resident changes, requests, and irregularities.
* Update medical charts and care plans to ensure comprehensive and personalized care.
* Observe residents' health status, taking proactive measures within your scope of practice.

What you'll bring to the table:

* Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred, with emphasis in business administration, hospitality, gerontology, or a related field.
* Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application.
* 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
* Prior care experience in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility.
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
* Understanding of State Assisted Living Regulations.
* Reliable transportation, automobile insurance as required by law, and a valid driver’s license.
