• Conducting field observations and obtaining samples for testing

• Documenting field observations and site activities daily in detailed field reports

• Performing destructive and non-destructive tests on construction materials

• Operating electric, pneumatic, and power actuated tools

• Performing concrete sawing, coring, and chipping

• Observing structural and reinforced steel connections in the field, both bolted and welded

• Performing steel and concrete plant inspections

• Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, technicians and project managers

• High School diploma or GED

• 5+ years of experience

• ICC Steel/High Strength Bolt certification or AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification

• Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height

• Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed
