Job Description
New opportunity for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Milford, IN area! The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing plant maintenance operations, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities while adhering to company regulations and safety protocols.
**Direct hire -3rd shift opportunity, offering competitive pay, benefits and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, including tasks like checking belts, chains, and electrical cabinets.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of preventative maintenance activities.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery for necessary repairs.
  • Research and request required parts for repairs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor or manager and perform additional assigned duties.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2-5 years of factory and maintenance experience
  • Working understanding of production equipment, operational processes, and standard operational procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with industrial electricity, (up to 480V, 3 phase), refrigeration, mechanical systems, and TIG welding.
  • Proficient in diagnosing mechanical issues with production and plant equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend technical information, work orders, and labels.
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures, including USDA guidelines, OSHA requirements, HAACP guidelines, GMPs, and company policies.
