Opportunity Summary:

Castaway is looking for exceptional line cooks to join our culinary team. Castaway Burbank is the top eatery in Los Angeles and is committed to providing guests with a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, up to par with Health Department standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
• Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1 year previous experience as a prep or line cook is required
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Positive attitude, team player, and able to work collaboratively with others
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including most weekends and nights
