Seasonal Groundskeeper

Full Time | Monday - Friday | 7-3:30 pm | Seasonal: April - October

** Pay rates between $18-20/hour! **

The Seasonal Groundskeeper ensures completion of grounds and facility maintenance and preventative maintenance of the Three Pillars Campus grounds and groundskeeping vehicles and equipment.

What will I do in this role?

  • Responsible for the completion of all assigned and preventative work requests/orders.
  • Maintain records of all repair work completed using the computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
  • Repair and/or replace items throughout the campus such as blocked drains, faucets, light fixtures, electrical devices, handrails, beds, tables, chairs, motors, pumps, tractors, lawn movers, motorized vehicles, etc.
  • Perform construction and renovation tasks including repair and painting of walls, repair of windows/doors, replacing fixtures and finishes, etc.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are in proper working order.
  • Provide maintenance of landscape including pruning, tree-trimming/removal, chipping, mowing, fertilizing, raking, aerating, seeding, mulching, watering, weeding, deadheading, cutting/splitting plants, removal and clean-up.
  • Carry out planting of trees, shrubs, annual and perennial gardens, and planter boxes.
  • Perform snow removal operations.
  • Provide pickup and disposal of refuse.
  • Ensure all equipment and contractors follow OSHA standards.

What is required in this position?

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Experience in Facilities Maintenance or Landscaping is preferred, but not required.
  • Have a valid State of Wisconsin driver's license and the ability to transport self and materials to various locations on an occasional basis as well as drive company vehicles.
