Bartender

At Mikey's you'll find the best food, beer, cocktails, service, atmosphere and commitment to standards in the area.

Bartenders responsible for operating the bar via the direction of the Bar Manager.

Employees in this position will be required (but not limited) to performing the tasks listed.

· Provide exceptional guest service

· Answer phone per restaurant needs and guidelines

· Produce high-quality house cocktails, beer and wine pours per customer and server request

· Prep. as instructed by the Bar Manager (infusing alcohol, batching craft cocktails, rotating and agitating craft cocktail kegs)

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar environment

· Possess a fundamental bar knowledge with the willingness to grow ‘beyond the basics’

· Possess a basic knowledge of draft systems and be familiar with tapping beer and cocktail kegs

· Possess a full understanding of food menu items

· Show up on time to scheduled shifts, missing work only in the event of sickness or emergency (proper notice required when applicable)

· Execute thorough bar setups and closes

· Responsible for accurate register counts

· Desire to complete Cicerone Certified Beer Certification with provided materials
