The Project Engineer is an integral part of our success! You will be responsible for system pressure calculations, in-house lab burner operation for testing, design drawings, system and sales engineering support for Schebler UL listed projects in coordination with the overall goals of the Division and the Company.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Provide system pressure calculations for Schebler system as requested.
  2. Operate the test lab equipment for R&D and UL listings.
  3. Work with division to assist in the coordination of on-going and additional UL testing on current and new products.
  4. Provide engineering support for Sequence Draft Control and Wing fan lines.
  5. Provide engineering support to designers
  6. Provide UL & Engineered Stacks system design drawings to customers for proposal and submittal purposes.
  7. Provide engineering expertise for new and existing projects that fall within areas of responsibility.
  8. Assist sales team with engineering support as deemed necessary for special project requirements.
  9. Provide engineering support and expertise to assist with other technical matters that occur in the Chimney Division.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.


Experience: Professional experience preferred but not required.


Necessary Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to interact with varying levels of management, customers, and general public
  • Computer skills on a variety of office software packages.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge/hands on experience with mechanical systems
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and controls
  • Willingness to travel to further the mission of the Division and the Company as necessary.

Other Requirements:


While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to a moderate noise level.
